"My husband and I just spent a glorious month at Jeanne’s comfy two bedroom ocean front condo in just the perfect location on Solana Beach! It was love the moment we opened the front door! The glorious views of the ocean, the gentle sounds of its waves lapping, the cross-flowing breezes (ceiling fans in every room, too, but we really never needed them) and the stunning sunsets were all ours for 30 days! Plus, the condo feels very spacious with its open entertaining area and vaulted ceilings. We also enjoyed the fact that the unit is on the top floor of her building! Jeanne was wonderful! Any question or concern that we had Jeanne or her son always immediately responded to—even when they were our user errors! The location of the unit is so so special—can’t be beat, especially if you like easy access to everything by car or foot which we do. I took every opportunity to walk—the complex shares access to the beach via a long staircase (a perfect beginning to a walk), the town of Solana Beach with great little clothing & design shops and the Sunday market, the train station, Jet Rhys hair salon, CVS, yogurt and restaurants are literally all a brief delightful stroll away! We had a car which we parked in the unit’s space. We used it for exploring (so many cute towns, concerts & so much shopping nearby) and some grocery shopping—within 10 minutes there’s Sprouts (my favorite), Vons, and Whole Foods. We took advantage of the proximity of the train (never do you hear it!) and went by train for a day in San Diego and a day in LA! Great fun! My husband and I travel extensively and we like to stay in someone’s rental. We’ve found that there are so many things which go into making a memorable experience—to us the most important are the cleanliness of the unit, the location and access to enjoyable activities, the internet, the safety of the area and the responsiveness of the owner. We truly didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much for sharing your home, Jeanne! Save us a month! We’ll definitely be back!"

"Jeanne,

One Awesome Vacation! My family and I just stayed at the SBTC in Jeanne's unit. We spent a week with the kids and then stayed to celebrate our anniversary. We have stayed many times at the Del Mar Beach Club and love the area. I appreciate others honest reviews and will give the same.

1. Jeanne's unit 311. Jeanne was awesome to work with. I had forgotten how nice it was to work directly with the owner, and not an agency. She was very prompt, extremely helpful, and very accommodating throughout the entire process. Her website gives many pictures and videos, but honestly they really don't do it justice. It is much nicer, very clean and well kept. It was well stocked with towels, beach toys, boogie boards, umbrellas, toilet paper, ping pong balls and paddles, tennis balls, etc. The furniture is very nice too! The view is incredible, you feel like you are right on the ocean--you practically are. The only con my wife had is that she wished she could have made the master bedroom a little darker, but she really likes to sleep in. Needless to say, the unit far exceeded our expectations!

2. Solona Beach & Tennis Club. We have stayed at DMBC many times and stayed here this time because the first week we had other families in other units here. When looking online we were a little nervous about the place--is it old, run down, safe, etc? But again, we were overly surprised. The grounds are immaculate, we felt completely safe at all hours (especially with our kids here and visiting their cousins in other units). There are two hot tubs and a heated pool! Yes, heated :) The tennis courts were great, and there was even a ping pong table and pool table. Parking was close too! The steps to the beach are long, but worth it because the beach is never crowded! Hands down, we will come here again and especially grab Jeanne's unit!!"

I can hardly believe our time here is already coming to an end! We absolutely love the condo--it's been hard to get up the motivation to go out at all. lol We really needed a rest, and this place has been just the ticket. We both agree that we've had the best sleep here of any vacation ever, and we've been together more than 30 years! :-)

We've been to the San Diego area many times, and usually by day four of a planned week, we're thinking about home again because the place we're staying is just not the greatest. Here, however, my husband is kicking himself for not taking two weeks off. lol You've definitely got a winner!

"From the first contact with Jeannes Beach Villas , I was very happy with the service provided.
A video and 25 pictures gave us a very good impression of what to expect.
We were not disappointed in any aspect.

We arrived mid afternoon for a week stay and found the Solana Beach condo an excellent place and location.
We roamed north to Capistrano and Oceanside, east to Temecula Wine Country and the Wild Animal Park, and south to San Diego.
We found the traffic to be minimal and easy to navigate ( we did bring our own GPS unit which I would highly recommend also)

The condo was just a wonderful place for two couples as we had a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths plus a wonderfull view of the Pacific from the balcony and spacious living room/dining area Secure parking in a covered garage was another plus. Everything was in great condition
Having the internet and my laptop was a blessing so we could read about places, look at maps and plan our days accordingly

Jeanne was great to deal with as we had a minor key issue( my fault ) but she quickly called the management office and had someone come over to help us out and show me how to use a key.

Local restaurants were plentiful as we ate at Charlies by the Sea, Several downtown restaurants and another Winery restaurant in Temecula. Bring a game or two as we finished every evening with some Scrabble and Mexican Train dominoes( Target $17 travel size Scrabble and a Domino tin for $13) although airport security was not impressed with a solid block of ceramic dominoes at the Xray booth

I think anyone wanting to visit Southern California would be wise to consider this condo for their first choice.
The four of us had a great week inspite of a little rain and cool air in February. Thanks again for a great place"
